The UTZ certified seal guarantees the coffee was grown and harvested in a socially and environmentally sustainable way. For all our L'OR coffee blends, only carefully selected and roasted beans of the highest quality are used. The exact contents of each capsule blend vary depending on the variety and strength. A good espresso sometimes requires the addition of high-quality beans, to enhance a full bodied and complex taste and create an intense espresso experience. We are constantly improving our blends to ensure we are delivering the best possible coffee experience in every cup.

To make it easier for you to choose your preferred coffee blend, each blend of a double shot capsule has a distinctive color, with the name of the blend and its intensity labeled on top of the capsule.
You will find the best before date at the bottom of the packaging.
Some of the capsules are packaged upside-down to minimise excess use of packaging materials. The inlay in the coffee box serves to carefully protect each capsule.
The double shot capsules are only available from L'OR. The L'OR BARISTA double shot capsules can only be used in L'OR BARISTA coffee machines.

The difference lies in the finishing of the coffee machines: the L'OR BARISTA Limited Edition coffee machine has a matte finish with chrome details and components. The L'OR BARISTA Essential Collection coffee machines do not have these finishes. Both ranges include machines with semi-integrated milk frother.

When you reach out we recommend you have the capsules with the packaging in front of you. The production code on the pack will help us retrieve the production date.
L’OR Espresso and L'OR BARISTA capsules are made from aluminium to preserve the aroma and freshness of your coffee, and can be recycled to help preserve the environment.
Yes, they are. In addition, they also: contain 100% UTZ-certified coffee; use 50% fewer packaging materials; and can be recycled for free by customers who bought their L'OR BARISTA coffee machine and capsules online.
Not currently. But with our new L'OR BARISTA aluminium capsules, we've achieved a 50% reduction in packaging materials, compared to our previous plastic capsule packaging.
