HOW CAN I RECYCLE MY L'OR COFFEE CUPS?
All you have to do is collect your empty coffee capsules and send them in. Our partner Terracycle will then recycle the capsules and the coffee. Follow the steps below to recycle your L'OR coffee pods.
STEP 1
Collect your L'OR capsules in a cardboard box. Put the capsules in one (and only one) plastic bag before putting them in the box to avoid spillage.
STEP 2
Once you have collected at least 200 capsules, download a shipping label from your TerraCycle account by clicking “Ship us your waste” and follow the prompts.
STEP 3
Print out your label and tape it securely onto your box. Don't forget to seal the bag and the box to avoid any leakage. Ship the box to TerraCycle by dropping it off at your nearby post office.

What happens to the capsules I send in?
Every item of waste received by TerraCycle will be recycled into new products. When we receive your L'OR capsules we store them at our warehouse until we’ve collected a large enough quantity to process the aluminium by cleaning and shredding it into small pieces which can be melted and recycled into new products.
Is there a limit to how many L'OR capsules I can send in?
There is a maximum weight of 20kg allowed per shipping label.
Can I participate in the TerraCycle recycling program from anywhere in Australia?
TerraCycle® recycling programs are open to people from all locations in Australia, no matter where you are.
Do I have to wash my used capsules to get rid of the coffee before sending them?
You do not need to wash the capsules before sending them to be recycled. During processing, the coffee grounds will be separated from the rest of the capsule and composted.
